Abstract. Yield of Pleurotus djamor (Fr.) Boed. cultivated on wheat straw substrate with supplements depended on the kind of additive. The best supplement was soya bruised grain. When it was added the highest yield as well as high content of dry matter and total nitrogen in carpophores were found.

Summary
Two strains of Pleurotus djamor ‘CS 374’ and ‘B 62’ were used in the experiment. Wheat straw substrate with three supplements: wheat bran, rape bruised grain and soya bruised grain were tested.
Total and marketable yields were estimated and dry matter as well as nitrogen total content in carpophores were determined. It was found that the best supplement was soya bruised grain (3.5% of substrate dry matter). On that substrate the highest total and marketable yields (respectively 361 and 277 g/kg of substrate fresh matter) were obtained. Carpophores of Pleurotus were characterised by high content of dry matter and total nitrogen.
